We are seeking a charismatic and knowledgeable Regional Director (Asia Operation) This pivotal role is centered on driving revenue growth, formulating strategic plans, and enhancing our market presence in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and marketing within the financial services industry and have an in-depth understanding of the Asian market dynamics.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategic Planning and Management
- Develop, implement, or execute regional business strategies and initiatives to drive growth and market penetration to align with organizational goals
- Monitor regional performance and align it with corporate objectives.
- Establish key performance metrics for departments and ensure continuous monitoring of financial, strategic, and regulatory compliance across the region.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee the setup and operation of all departments, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead the regional office and ensure its alignment with the corporate’s international standards and goals.
- Establish robust risk management frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance across all functions, including client service and back-office Operation.
- Ensure smooth operations within the region and also identify and resolve operational challenges or inefficiencies.
- Lead, mentor, and support regional managers or leaders.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team.
Market and Sales Leadership Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the region.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for regional growth, including expanding service offerings to ensure the corporate’s overall goals.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Maintain a deep understanding of local regulations, ensure all operations are compliant, and manage risks specific to the Asia financial market
- Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to stay updated on regulatory changes and align internal policies accordingly.
- Act as the primary point of contact with local regulators and authorities for any compliance issues or reporting requirements.
Team Management and Development
- Promote an inclusive and transparent work environment that aligns with the corporate’s values.
Financial Oversight
- Manage the regional budget, focusing on cost-efficiency and sustainable growth.
- Regularly report on financial performance to the management (CEO & COO), including projections, expenditure, and ROI.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and monitoring.
Client Service and Relationship Management
- Oversee the client service team to ensure high-quality, responsive service to individual and institutional clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s degree or MBA focusing on Finance or International Business (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years in a top management-level role with experience managing the team or subordinates within the financial services industry, ideally with experience in a multinational setting.
- Proven track record in market expansion, managing regulatory frameworks, and operational leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple functions or departments, including sales, operation, compliance, and client service.
- Fluency in English (required) and Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Tagalog, and Vietnamese is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Asia financial market, Asia cultural adaptability, and understanding of local business practices.

- Strong knowledge of Asian and international brokerage and financial services regulations: Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks across Asia, with the ability to navigate complex compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills: Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across diverse cultures, fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth and achievement.
- Advanced financial acumen: Skilled in budget management, financial forecasting, and reporting, with a strategic approach to optimizing regional financial performance.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making: Proficient in assessing market trends and dynamics, utilizing data insights to make informed strategic decisions that align regional operations with global business objectives.
